Finally!

The product works great for baking gluten-free bread. I had been baking bread for a while without knowing why I didn't get a more binding texture and when I found out that I was missing this product in the recipe, I took the opportunity to buy it here. Now my breads have more consistency and the crumb is fluffier.

El producto funciona de maravilla para cocinar pan sin gluten. Llevaba un tiempo cocinando pan sin saber por qué no me quedaban con una textura más ligada y cuando me he informado de que me faltaba este producto en la receta, he aprovechado para comprarlo aquí. Ahora mis panes tienen mayor consistencia y la miga es más esponjosa.

Well, as expected

Presented in HSN's customary zip bags. The product works as expected. It is best to use it already diluted in water, mixing it in a small jar, getting a very thick consistency, which allows it to be diluted, so it is easier to add it to where you want to use it. This should keep in the refrigerator for about a month. In powder it dilutes regularly.

Se presenta en las bolsas con zip que acostumbra HSN. El producto funciona como es esperado. Lo mejor es utilizarlo ya diluido en agua, mezclándolo en un tarrito pequeño, consiguiendo una consistencia muy espesa, lo que permite diluirse, así es más fácil añadirlo a donde se quiera usar. Esto debería aguantar en la nevera como un mes aproximadamente. En polvo se diluye regular.

Interesting

I wanted something to thicken certain preparations without using flour or starch. I chose xanthan and it's pretty good. You don't need much and it does the job very well. Perfect when you don't want to add any calories to the mix.

Je voulais un truc pour épaissir certaine préparation, sans utilisé de farine ou de fécule. J'ai choisi la xanthane et c'est plutôt pas mal. Il en faut peu et ça fait très bien le taf. Parfait quand on ne veut rajouter aucune calorie au préparation.

I hardly use it

I use xanthan gum to thicken protein whey shakes, especially with berries flavor it is very similar to the yogurt of that flavor, but once I finished that protein I have not used it for anything else. It is not that the product is bad but it is not to my taste.

La goma xantana la uso para espesar los batidos de protein whey, sobretodo con sabor frutas del bosque queda muy parecido al yogur de dicho sabor, pero una vez me terminé esa proteína no lo he usado para nada más. No es que esté mal el producto pero no es de mi gusto.

You have to know how to use it

I ordered it to give density to desserts (yogurt, milkshake...) and therefore satiety. I have not yet been able to take advantage of it, you have to pour it little by little because otherwise it becomes lumpy and not pleasant. I will keep trying until I get it!

Lo pedí para darle densidad a los postres (yogur, batido..) y por ende saciedad. Aún no he sabido sacarle el partido, hay que ir echando poco a poco porque si no se hacen grumos y no son agradables. ¡Seguiré probando hasta conseguirlo!

Good product, I bought the 500gr, but with the 150gr is enough for a long time, meets expectations, thickens perfectly, I recommend it.

Buen producto, compré el de 500gr, pero con el de 150gr es suficiente para mucho mucho tiempo, cumple con las expectativas, espesa perfectamente, lo recomiendo.

Hot thickening

When you pour it in liquids, when cold, it does not thicken, there are lumps, but when hot, it is very good, and then when it cools it acquires consistency. I usually do it with the oat drink, which I like to give a thick touch, simulating a custard. I add amino acids with lemon flavoring and a ladle of glucomannan, and another of xanthan gum, and I add it to the hot oat drink.

Cuando la echas en líquidos, en frío, no espesa, se quedan grumos, pero sin embargo en caliente, queda muy bien, y luego al enfriarse adquiere consistencia. Lo suelo hacer con la bebida de avena, a la que me gusta darle un toque espeso, simulando unas natillas. Le añado aminoácidos con saborizante de limón y un cazo de glucomanano, y otro de goma xantana, y se lo añado a la bebida de avena caliente.

Yogurt texture achieved.

I bought it to combine with kefir to obtain yogurt texture and it does it perfectly. As a recommendation I would not let it sit too long in the refrigerator as it gets too much consistency, better to prepare it at the moment or let a day at the most.

La compré para combinar con el kéfir y así obtener textura de yogur y lo consigue a la perfección. Como recomendación no lo dejaría reposar mucho tiempo en el refrigerador ya que se pasa de consistencia, mejor preparar en el momento o dejar pasar un día como mucho.
