Good for lowering cholesterol

I use this red rice yeast to keep my family hypercholesterolemia at bay, and as soon as I stop taking it, my cholesterol rises again like foam, which makes me think that apparently it works. So far I have not noticed any adverse effects, although since monacolin K is absolutely identical to a statin (lovastatin), I always take it under the supervision of a doctor, and I am always on the lookout for the typical adverse effects of statins. I recommend the product (but always being aware that natural does not mean harmless).

Uso esta levadura de arroz rojo para mantener a raya mi hipercolesterolemia familiar, y en cuanto dejo de tomarlo, me sube el colesterol de nuevo como la espuma, lo que me hace pensar que aparentemente funciona. Por ahora no he notado efectos adversos, aunque al ser la monacolina K absolutamente idéntica a una estatina (lovastatina), lo tomo siempre bajo control de un médico, y estando atenta por si aparecen los efectos adversos típicos de las estatinas. Recomiendo el producto (pero siendo siempre consciente de que natural no significa inocuo).

Lower my cholesterol

I tend to have cholesterol above 200, even when controlling saturated fat intake. I have resorted for cycles of time to red yeast rice and it works: 180 or less. It also comes with a Coenzyme Q10 supplement. Very good.
