I take it along with melatonin before going to sleep on days when I know I'm going to have trouble falling asleep. I don't know if it's mental or what, but the next day I wake up a bit more zombie-like, like when you sleep for many hours, but rested (which is the important thing in the end) and after a while it passes (maybe I try to lower the dose but in general I'm very happy with the purchase, I notice that it works).
