Erythritol powder by FoodSeries, is an additive (E-968), used as a sweetener, for use in foodstuffs.
Erythritol is a polyol widely used as a 'non-intensive' sweetener, or sugar substitute, and is widely used for its organoleptic characteristics equivalent to table sugar, which make it easier to prepare fitness recipes with it.
“Erythritol is a white, crystalline powder with an appearance, density and sweetness quality similar to sugar” (De Cock, 2018).
Because erythritol is a non-caloric, non-insulinemic and non-glycaemic sweetener and is well tolerated (De Cock, 2018).
Sweeteners are a good alternative to sugar to reduce tooth demineralisation associated with sugar consumption, as tooth decay can be prevented by avoiding dietary sugar intake (World Health Organization, 2015).

It is a matter of taste, for mine the sweetness it leaves is not pleasant, I bought it to try alternatives, especially for making desserts, but I still prefer stevia powder 100x100 although its taste is noticeable.
