    Quinoa is a herb native to the Andes. Its seed is a highly consumed cereal because it’s super nutritious and gluten-free.

    How to prepare Quinoa?

    To enjoy this product, just:

    1. Put the quinoa in a strainer and rinse with cold water.
    2. Boil water (twice the amount of water as quinoa). Wait until it boils.
    3. Add the quinoa and wait 15 minutes.
    4. Once it has absorbed the water, drain the quinoa and it’s ready to eat.

    Quinoa and Raisin Cookies

    Quinoa can be used in many savory and sweet recipes, like Quinoa and Raisin Cookies:

    Ingredients:

    • 80 g quinoa.
    • 40 g Instant Oat Flour cookie and cream flavor.
    • 3 tablespoons Coconut Oil.
    • 2 eggs.
    • 20 g small sultana raisins.
    • 1 tablespoon honey.
    • 1 pinch of salt.

    Preparation:

    • Cook the quinoa.
    • In a bowl, add the quinoa along with the oat flour, eggs, coconut oil, and salt. Mix well until you get a dough.
    • Add the honey and raisins. Mix thoroughly.
    • Preheat the oven to 200º, while placing special baking paper on the tray.
    • With the dough, shape the cookies by hand and place them on the paper.
    • Finally, put them in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes at 170º. You should get cookies with a toasted color.
