Hydrolyzed Collagen + Magnesium - Product Presentation
Hydrolyzed Collagen + Magnesium 2.0 from EssentialSeries is a food supplement based on Hydrolyzed Bovine Collagen (the same you can buy pure without additives in our brand RawSeries), with magnesium citrate and vitamin C; with delicious fruity flavors with sweetener, which help mask any characteristic aftertaste of hydrolyzed collagen.
Collagen is a fibrous protein, typically found in connective structures such as skin or joint cartilage, and is part of our body as the main protein present. It is characterized by a three-dimensional intertwined triple helix structure.
With Hydrolyzed Collagen + Magnesium you get a product of excellent nutritional quality, with healthy flavors and no sugars, perfect to complement your diet with premium nutrients that are good for you.

HSN’s formula is the best collagen with magnesium you’ll find
Not all collagen with magnesium is the same. At HSN we bring you your best choice.
Heads up!
Quality collagen. Treated with controlled hydrolysis for better taste
Native type I collagen is not properly absorbed, so it must be pre-digested using industrial procedures. This process is called hydrolysis.
Hydrolysis can be done by many methods, the most common (but less recommended for collagen) being acidic hydrolysis.
At HSN we follow enzymatic hydrolysis procedures to hydrolyze our collagen into peptides, and thanks to this we’ve achieved a much milder taste, since acidic hydrolysis naturally generates a huge amount of salt and makes the raw material very bitter.
Our raw collagen, without flavors, used to develop this product has a neutral, slightly salty taste, so it’s not only of the highest quality but also enjoyable.

Low molecular weight collagen peptides. The most effective and nutritionally valued
Hydrolyzed collagen, depending on the conditions under which it is hydrolyzed, releases a variable amount and type of peptides.
The hydrolysis conditions we use for our collagen allow releasing a high density of low molecular weight peptides.
According to scientific research, indigestible native collagen has a huge weight of 300 KDa, and it is recommended to hydrolyze below 6 kDa to properly benefit from its functions.
Our hydrolyzed bovine collagen weighs 3 kDa (3000 Daltons) on average, peptides of perfect complexity for the nutritional effects of this unique protein structure.
With Magnesium and Vitamin C in highly bioavailable forms and optimal absorption
HSN’s Hydrolyzed Collagen + Magnesium is formulated with the best available forms of magnesium and vitamin C.
The magnesium provided is in the form of magnesium citrate salts with 15-16% elemental magnesium content, and high bioavailability that withstands passage through all parts of the digestive tract.
Vitamin C, which is important for collagen integrity, is presented in pure form, with a high concentration. Ascorbic acid available for organic use since the body doesn’t need to metabolize it to use it, it’s directly bioavailable.
Flavors developed so you can fully enjoy collagen. Check them out!
Collagen, for the reasons we mentioned earlier, is known for having a particularly unpleasant taste, so if you’ve used any flavored hydrolyzed collagen before, you probably didn’t enjoy it.
Our flavors have been developed with 'anti-bitter' profile aromas so you don’t just 'have to' take collagen, but so you enjoy it. Thanks to selecting raw materials with low salt and bitterness levels, our collagen flavors really taste good.
You have a wide variety of fruity tastes, perfect for making tasty drinks that, since they contain no sugar, you can enjoy between meals to curb sweet cravings healthily.

Why take Collagen with Magnesium?
Collagen is a protein widely present in the connective structures of our body.
Type I collagen, which is mainly the case for this product, is highly present for example in the skin, while Type II, which you’ll find as UC-II® in our catalog, is more predominant in joint cartilage.
Not only because of collagen, but also due to the properties of magnesium and vitamin C in this supplement, it’s ideal for daily use.
We mentioned vitamin C is important for collagen, do you know why?
Because vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin, and teeth.
Also, the magnesium in the product is important for energy metabolism and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue.
Who can take it?
Collagen with magnesium is a product anyone interested in these nutrients’ properties can use, as it contains no allergens and the only condition it’s not suitable for is vegan diets, since its origin is animal.
You can use collagen if you want to prepare high-protein drinks, based on blended fruits or vegetables, for example, adding an exotic fruity taste typical of our supplement.
It’s also a very suitable supplement for middle-aged men and women, and for athletes, especially those under heavy training loads, more specifically when practicing high-impact activities.
